A Little Disappointed….

Drumroll please……

So someone at the Primark headquarters finally fixed up and sorted out the site! Over the years they have invested so much into on trend pieces and it has really paid off. They now carry catwalk inspired clothing as well as classic investments. It’s not exactly top quality, but you can’t have everything. Best of all, everything (apart from a cheeky few), is at reasonable prices.  Last year they started to stock popular pieces on ASOS, one of my most popular online stores. It was great to be able to shop without the Primark shuffling and crowds.

When I heard about the website re-do I was pretty excited. To be honest, I think everyone seemed to expect an online shopping facility. The selection available varies so much from store to store. It would have been a time saver to have it available all at one place. That just didn’t happen. I hope someone there reads this and takes note 🙂

BaubleBar + Weddings

A lot of my British readers will be wondering, who in the world are BaubleBar?

BaubleBar is high quality fashion jewellery company based across the seas on American shores. I wouldn’t even call it costume jewellery as it’s so much more beautiful. Unfortunately, a lot of their pieces are super recognisable because they have been copied! Naughty Naughty.

Gone are the days when you have have to buy or borrow authentic expensive pieces of jewellery for your big day.

The problem with most costume jewellery is that it tends to look tacky and translate terribly in professional photography. If I had a pound for every bride who has complained about their jewellery after seeing their pictures. You spend a grand on a dress and risk it all looking cheap because Mr T is hanging off your ear? Please…..just no….

I know your wondering about the price tag. Don’t worry, it’s all affordable, like normal people affordable. Not blogger affordable at another £1000 hahaah! I”m in a jokey mood.

5 Things: That are just wrong……..and really freak me out

Keep calm? I’m trying.

1. People who feel up their partners butts in public.  A sweet kiss? Please go ahead but COME ON! Seriously, the butts not going anywhere if you play your cards right! We know you like her, we know you find her attractive and other biological stuff…….. but please keep it IN private. This means away from tube escalators, shopping centres, pavements and restaurants. Also, away from my face. Yes, restaurants! Whilst at a Thai Place Sunday night one man’s hands were getting a little too friendly with his girlfriend. All whilst they appeared to be casually socialising with their friends. Only I could see the real deal.

2. Children with lots of makeup and nail varnish on. A bit of a serious one but it has to go in. Please tell me why some 4 year olds are wearing more jewellery and make up than this 23 year old? No…urgh…no! Children=Childhood please!

3. Camel toe. No description necessary. Common among those who think that leggings are trousers. They are not trousers, I repeat they are NOT trousers! And the majority are not thick, why should I know what colour knickers you are wearing. Why should i know that your knickers have dots on them. Or little flowers or raunchy lace? There is an extent to being my brothers keeper. I feel sorry for all those guys trying to keep a pure mind because I’m considering wearing shades permanently!

4. Guys that longer eye lashes than me. It’s just so unfair…..sigh.

5. People who love their pets a bit too much.  I understand that you dog is cute and has the cutest little ears and paws. I even understand how your pet can become your best friend. But licking all over your face and going about your life as if you are not bacteria riddled! Let’s just get this clear, you are not the same species! Cute and all but….limits. Please.

Fashion: The best £12.99 I ever spent

The last time you heard from me I was talking about sucking it up and buying a lipstick. This post is about getting over my ‘thing’ about trousers. I find it funny how much my blog has taught me about things that have nothing to do with my blog! Fear of failing and doing something new so often put us of incredible new horizons. Not strange, just human nature.

Seeing me in a pair of trousers is like seeing an Eskimo in flip flops. It just doesn’t happen. For many reasons. The first is the problem that one that faces all curvy girls face with a small waist ,big hips and some butt. Nothing fits quite right and everything seems a bit clown-ish. Most fitting my bottom half but loose at the waist. The only thing missing from most trousers I try on are braces and a clown hat. Resulting in a wardrobe full of dresses!

I walked into Zara one day determined to find a pair of trousers. Having scoured the entire store I couldn’t believe it when I saw these trousers. The shock continued to the changing room when I found out they fit. Zara do statement pieces like these trousers so well. Down from £50 to £12.99, bargain!
